How do food challenges work?

How does Zubly Challenge work?

A creator posts a video food challenge (spiciest bite, speed-eating, blind taste test, etc.) and names a reward dish they want to win. Viewers tip ₹10 each to back them. When enough tips are collected, the reward meal is delivered straight to the creator — they pay nothing out of pocket.

How much does it cost to tip?

Each tip is ₹10, collected via Cashfree. You can tip as many challenges as you like. Tips are held securely until the challenge either hits its goal (they get the food) or expires (you get a refund).

What happens if the challenge doesn't reach its goal?

If the deadline passes without enough tips, the challenge expires and every tipper is automatically refunded in full. You can also opt to donate your ₹10 tip to Zubly when tipping if you'd like to support the platform regardless.

What kinds of food challenges can I post?

Zubly supports six challenge types: Spiciest Bite, Speed Eating, Blind Taste Test, Creative Plating, Recreate a Dish, and Worst Food Memory. Each type has a video component and a reward dish priced up to ₹1,000.

Do I need a Swiggy account to create a challenge?

Yes — if your challenge wins, Zubly places the reward order on your Swiggy account. You need to connect Swiggy in your profile before posting a challenge so we have your delivery address ready.
